When supporting a project or book on Unbound, you are purchasing online credit which is assigned to the title of your choice. Cash refunds are available for credits purchased up to 30 days (‘Refund Period’). Credits must be used within two years of purchase (‘Expiry Date’).
Supporting a Crowdfunding Title
Projects can take a varying length of time to achieve their funding target. We want to give every project the best possible chance of succeeding but will constantly evaluate whether a project is still viable.
If a book does not reach its funding target you will receive an email letting you know the book will not be going ahead and will have 30 days to request a cash refund (‘Withdraw Period’). After this point, credits will be returned to your Unbound account. You can use these credits towards funding another project or buying an already published title. Credits must be used within two years of return date (‘Expiry Date’).
If a project has been funded, no cash or credit refunds will be issued after the ‘Refund Period’ has expired.
Buying a Published Book on Unbound
If you have simply changed your mind, please email support@unbound.co.uk so we can provide you with a returns label within 30 days of the delivery date. Refunds will be made to your original method of payment once the goods have been received. All returns must be received in resellable condition to qualify for a refund.
Damaged Books
If you have received damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped merchandise, please contact support@unbound.co.uk with a photo clearly showing the damaged goods. Provided the damage is not considered ‘wear and tear’ Unbound will arrange for a replacement item to be shipped.
